by Anne Merritt – On 28 September 2024, the Guild welcomed 63 visitors to our studio for the Tett’s 2024 Open Doors event. Those who came enjoyed seeing members demonstrating throwing on the wheel, getting tours of the Guild’s facilities and helping to make holiday ornaments in preparation for the Guild’s Holiday Ornament Decorating event later in December. The children in particular were keen to help and over 100 ornaments were made that day. 

So a big thank you to June Lang for helping to organize the event and Patty Petkovich, Mary Helen Garsch, Eithne Balme, Susanne Ellis and Nina Micanovic for making it a very pleasant and successful event.
