Martha’s Table is a soup kitchen where Kingston residents who are down on their luck, can have a nourishing meal. Martha’s Table relies on donations of food and money to provide food and pay expenses.

Their major fundraiser, “Empty Bowls”, takes place each fall. At this community event, you can choose a one-of-a- kind hand made bowl and have a meal of gourmet soups and bread.

The Kingston Potters’ Guild and other Kingston area potters have donated bowls for this event for many years. Food is donated by Kingston’s finest eating establishments. It is a wonderful way to support a good cause, have a great meal and obtain a hand made bowl.
